Israel election: What could each outcome mean for Palestinians?

Описание: Israel's election on 27 October will decide who governs, yet more than 5.5 million Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and Gaza have no vote despite being directly affected by the outcome. Analysts outline three possible scenarios—a Netanyahu-led win, an opposition majority, or a deadlock—each carrying different implications for settlement expansion, the Gaza blockade and prospects for Palestinian statehood. Most opposition figures, like Netanyahu, oppose a two-state solution, meaning any shift is likely to be tactical rather than structural.

Al Jazeera's Nida Ibrahim reports from the occupied West Bank.
