10 YEARS TOGETHER: CELEBRATIONS

Hello you! For our 9 years together we went a little bit crazy, booked a fancy hotel room and basically just had a bunch of fun. This year we couldn't think how we could top it so instead we just enjoyed ourselves. No pressure, no trying to outdo last year, just happy times.

I kicked off the celebrations by getting Jade some flowers delivered to her school. We said we weren't getting each other gifts but... I mean, come on, we've been together 10 years.

On the actual evening of our anniversary (which was a Wednesday night) we headed to Wine Connection - always a good place to get a delicious reliable meal for two.

Then at the weekend we went back to the cinema again and treated ourselves to the CAT first class screen at Central World; it was awesome! We had buffet food, free popcorn & soda and even a little button to push at our seats that calls a butler!

We had been meaning to check out Hooters in Bangkok for a while and figured why not now? The chicken was great, the women were of course pretty, but - and this was the best part - the service was outstanding! Everyone knows that the waitresses are meant to be the main draw for people to visit Hooters but, in Bangkok where you can see naked girls whenever you feel like it, Hooters stands out for its amazing service. Without a doubt the staff have been very well trained and were all funny, polite, energetic and welcoming. We were impressed.

On the Sunday we went to one of our favourite places to eat: Roast in Emquartier. Seriously, the lamb ragu gnocchi is out of this world. It might be one of the best things to eat in Bangkok!

A quick stop off at Yoghurt Land for some dessert and then we picked up some Krispy Kreme doughnuts because they were the only thing I wanted for our anniversary.

So there we have it, 10 years together. Crazy!
