Well, so this video has been the most requested and the most voted one. I have to say I love Melanie so this was very fun to make but also a little bit hard.


First of all, the main concept of this megamix was to mix the most relevant songs from her two albums, CRYBABY (2015) and K-12 (2019). That’s why songs like Bittersweet Tragedy, Cake, Dead To Me, Gingerbread Man, Piggyback, Play Date, Teddy Bear and Copy Cat weren´t included. Now that being said…

I made a research and these songs were the most popular (with Wheels On The Bus). I really regret not adding that one and Strawberry Shortcake, but the acapellas of this album are really dirty. I am thinking that maybe in the future when people start uploading good ones I would love to make a whole K-12 Megamix with all the songs. But for now I only included those four.

Other thing people comment a lot is about the pitch of the songs. NO, I don’t have anything against Melanie. I don’t pitch her voice because I want to but because I have to. In this megamix I have mixed 14 different songs together and all of them have different keys. I have to put them all in the same key so that the whole thing doesn’t sound off key. That means some songs are going to sound higher and others lower. That’s why the baby/chipmunk or male voice. If I pitched some song in the wrong key, I am sorry. I don’t use any program like Fl Studio for the audio, I do it everything by ear (because Internet is not reliable when it comes to know the key of a song).

That takes me to the last point (that usually is asked a lot), the program I use. I use Sony Vegas Pro 10 for both, audio and video edit (it is so lame and has merit at the same time, I know lol)
