The Shinkansen train takes you quickly from the Shin-Osaka station in Osaka to Okayama station. The journey is around 145 kilometres and the journey takes less than 55 minutes. I was sat on the left side of the train as we travelled east to west along Japan, so the view from the window is mostly looking south.
The train only stopped in Kobe, but also passed through the cities and towns of Akashi, Kakogawa, Himeji, Tatsuno, Aioi, Ako and Bizen.
There were many tunnels that the train went through, so i edited the longest tunnel from the video, but the short tunnels were left complete so as to give the video the truest feel.
This video has no narration or commentary. It is not a travel vlog. It is an experience of taking the Shinkansen through a Japan.
Video shot in 4K on Osmo Pocket, sound was recorded on Zoom H1N.
