3 in custody after search for armored truck robbery suspects, sources say

Some suspects are now in custody after an investigation into robberies of Brinks trucks in the Philadelphia region led to a pursuit into Lower Merion, Pennsylvania, sources said. Police sources would not confirm how many people are now in custody.
The pursuit of the suspects led to a shelter-in-place order in the Bala Cynwyd area, and eight schools in the Lower Merion School District were placed on lockdown, with parents told to stay away if they were coming to pick up their children.
Those schools are: Belmont Hills ES, Cynwyd ES, Merion ES, Penn Valley ES, Penn Wynne ES, Bala Cynwyd MS, Welsh Valley MS, and Lower Merion HS, the school district said on social media and in notices to parents.
Police have descriptions of two of the three suspects and were aware of a white Dodge Charger with a Pennsylvania tag, MNG 4029, wanted in connection with the case.
