Sun, sea, sand, sex… well, okay, three out of four ain’t bad, but instead of drunkenly getting away from it all under the blue skies of a Greek getaway, I somehow drunkenly ended up looking at some foreign fuse gear and rifling through my emails to see what spams, scams and utter nonsense has been cluttering up my inbox for the past few months.

You may also be pleased to hear that I finally coughed up for a new camera in time for this holiday, so say hello to 4K, image stabilisation and curious angles that my old camera could never manage even if I tied it in knots... although it does mean the sound is crap as the additional bits to attach it to my trusty Rode microphone didn’t arrive before I left home to face the misery of Birmingham airport’s departure terminal.
