Heads up, space fans – this is another major step toward China's goal of landing taikonauts on the moon by 2030. China has successfully carried out a low-altitude flight test of the Long March-10 rocket, together with its first-ever in-flight abort test of the Mengzhou crewed spacecraft, at the Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site in south China's Hainan Province.
CGTN's Wu Lei explains why this test is considered one of the most technically demanding missions in China's space history – and why it is critical for future crewed lunar missions.
