This is the swell that would claim one of my surfboard fins. Well, to be fair, it was more the seaweed and rocks on the mega low tide.
Even though it was the middle of the afternoon, I was craving a breakfast sandwich. I scored one from Steamer Lane supply and cruised out to play with the giants.
To all you hardcore surfers out there, yes I know it was bigger the prior two days and on the comedown. And I know Surfline said it was under 10. But there were definitely the odd 10+ foot waves out back still that no one was prepared to catch.
