Описание: Greenville County Schools (SC) integrated on February 17, 1970. The integration was court ordered. The district was given less than a month to design a plan that would reassign 12,000 students and more than 500 teachers. It took the work of 3000 volunteers to make the preparations, transfer supplies and carry out desegregation peacefully. These are the stories of some of the history makers.
