What was meant to be a simple interview day turned into something completely different.
I recorded the intro with plans to capture an interview, but once I arrived, I was not allowed to record, and to be honest, the interview itself didn’t match what I was looking for. Instead of forcing the plan, I chose to go with the moment.
On my way back to town, I made new friends, shared a ride, and later headed to Kibera, where I linked up with Makamusi and Mzee Elkanah. We sat down and had real conversations about life in Kibera, new year strategies, making money, and how to think differently moving forward.
