Shirley Booth brought the title character to life in a way only she could. She had a successful career full of awards and accolades, including an Academy Award, 2 Emmys, and 3 Tonys.

Lynn Borden played Barbara Baxter during Hazel’s final season. She also appeared in several other TV shows and films including Frogs, The Dick Van Dyke Show, Fantasy Island, and more.

Maudie Prickett played Rosie 36 times throughout Hazel’s run. She had a successful 40-year career that included over 300 stage, TV, and film appearances.

Whitney Blake played George Baxter’s wife Dorothy on Hazel. She was already an accomplished actress by that time and appeared on several other TV shows throughout her career.

Don Defore began his career as a stage writer and actor. He then moved on to earn roles in film and TV, including The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet and Hazel.

Bobby Buntrock’s neighbors knew he’d be a successful actor from the moment they met him and convinced his parents to send his pictures to an agent. He did well on TV during and after Hazel’s run but tragically died young after a severe car accident.

Surviving Hazel cast members continued to grace our screens after it went off the air. Ann Julia was a child star, eventual sex symbol, and cancer survivor. Ray Fulmer and Julia Benjamin both had short but noteworthy careers.
