eYAA: Cohort 5 Regional Capacity Building Workshop Recap | Bangkok, Thailand

Описание: The Regional Capacity Building Workshop of the eMpowering Youths Across ASEAN (eYAA) Programme Cohort 5 took place in Bangkok, Thailand, bringing together over 100 youth volunteers, civil society organisations, and social enterprises from across the region. Hosted by the ASEAN Foundation and Maybank Foundation, the workshop served as a dynamic platform for participants to strengthen their leadership, project management, and community engagement skills while fostering cross-cultural collaboration.

Across four days of immersive learning, participants engaged in masterclasses, fireside chats, and project presentations, guided by regional leaders, practitioners, and alumni. The programme highlighted pressing themes such as sustainability, education, community empowerment, and volunteerism, equipping youth with the knowledge and resources needed to implement impactful projects in Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Viet Nam.

By convening young changemakers with experienced mentors and institutional stakeholders, the workshop reaffirmed the commitment of ASEAN Foundation and Maybank Foundation to nurturing a generation of leaders who are ready to drive meaningful change in their local communities.
