Описание: In this webinar, we will explore generative machine learning (ML) models through the lenses of nonlinear mixed effects (NLME) models and vice versa. Generative ML and NLME are 2 domains that have grown independent from one another but they largely describe the same ideas, albeit with different terminology. Lots of people in pharmacometrics now try to explore the use of (generative) ML to complement more classical NLME modelling techniques. However in order to combine these 2 domains effectively and avoid reinventing the wheel, we believe that a unified understanding of both domains and their relationship to one another is essential. Not only will this make you a better modeler who is able to take advantage of the wealth of (generative) ML and NLME models out there and combine them together to answer specific drug development questions, but this unified understanding can also lead to innovation and new algorithm development which advance the state-of-the-art in NLME and pharmacometrics.
