Government, Bulambuli residents clash over Bududa relocation land

A group of people have pitched camp on land in Bulambuli district where government plans to resettle those affected by the recent disaster in neighbouring Bududa district in the Elgon sub-region. They claim they are the owners of 2,800 acres of land which government also says it bought for the resettlement.
State minister for Disaster Preparedness and Refugees Musa Ecweru says the government will use the available means to settle this matter.
