CTET is a national-level examination, for candidates who aspire of becoming a Teacher and shape the future of the country in several ways. Central Board of Secondary Education of India, i.e., CBSE is held responsible for conducting the examination twice a year. Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)  is the minimum eligibility criterion to serve as a teacher in Central Government Schools. CTET follows the pattern of having two papers. The candidates who appear for Paper I, are looking forward to teaching in classes I-V and the one appearing for Paper II will be teaching in VI-VIII classes. If a candidate appears for both the papers and qualifies for the test, then he/she will be eligible to teach in classes I-VIII.
