Donald Trump's inauguration took place Monday, Jan. 20, 2025, in Washington, D.C. Trump, Vice President JD Vance and their families watched the inaugural indoor parade at Capital One Arena due to freezing temperatures.
The parade began with first responders from Butler, Pennsylvania, the site of the attempted assassination of Trump on July 13, 2024. The gunman killed Pennsylvania native Corey Comperatore, who was honored with a moment of silence at Trump's inauguration parade.
