In this video, I will tell you the tricks and techniques that you need to start your counselling business so that you can retain clients for a long time and therapies work to give good results.

Here are a few tricks to start Online Counselling:
When you clinically counsel the client, you can understand the verbal & non-verbal expression, body language, you can access them, but during online counselling through chat, email, audio, or video sessions, the situation is completely different. Online counselling does not guarantee that the patient would complete the therapy.

In the case of clinical counselling, the patient meets you personally in the clinic and has followed up session and does all homework, and complete therapy as suggested by you. But in the case of offline therapy, you cannot guarantee whether they progress or make sure if they are working on the therapy you suggested to get the desired result. Once he books an audio session, he keeps on messaging you.
1 . Use a Private No: By using a private no, your details are not shared with the client. You need not reply to them, every time so that you can give time to other activities, heal yourself, and treat all your patients equally.

2.Time Duration Bar: Always set a time frame before starting the session, because if you keep on listening to the patient's history or problem for a longer time, you will not be able to access his problem and get exhausted. And a potential patient might not return to you.

3. Give them interventional plans: An online client expects to understand his problem and get immediate steps, he can follow to treat his problem. If you keep listening to him for two sessions taking his history, the client won't return. At the end of every session, make sure to give him suggestions and homework that he needs to complete before the next meeting.

4.Consistency: Keep your client connected. Do not run for the money but for dignity. Don't be available for patients all the time. For example, marriage or sexual counselling at least needs 4-5 sessions. Make a package and give a discount to your patients so that they feel connected. Do not do testing online unless you have all the necessary skills and qualifications. Avoid online testing as much as possible

5.Summarize: Before you end your session, always brief the client about their problem and the therapy you are going to follow. If you think that the problem your patient is dealing with is not under your specialization of therapy, then instead of fooling the client just to make money is wrong. Refer your patient to a right nearby specialist.

Give quality service and not quantity. Keep your clients satisfied.
Opt for such payment options as Schizophrenia, Bipolar, Chronic Depression which enable you to transfer money easily from your client's account into your account.
