Is 3dB really the smallest change in sound level that humans can actually hear? Is 10dB louder truly twice as loud? Why is our hearing so much worse than our other perceptions?
Or, is the info about our hearing that is widely accepted as fact, completely wrong?
let's do some tests and see.

Engineering Noise Control is generally credited with coming up with 33dB being the smallest difference people can hear and 10dB being twice as loud
