I didn't have a proper episode planned for this week, but I didn't want you to have to start your Saturday without a little Basement of Horror. So here is a short discussion on a somewhat controversial topic in the Halloween mask collecting community. Do styrofoam wig heads damage latex rubber masks? In this video, I compare two vintage Topstone rubber masks that were the subject of a 12-year experiment. The results provide a compelling argument against using styrofoam wig heads as stands for displaying/storing latex masks.
