Many testimonies are born from simple acts of obedience; once you identify your part, you commit God to do His part.

Pastor emphasizes that when studying the Word, we must always ask: What is my role? (1 Thessalonians 5:20). From 2 Kings 7:1–2, he explains that the Word of the Lord carries weight for those who believe, and that our confession must align consistently with what God has
spoken. This includes the circumcision of the mouth, refusing to speak contrary to prophecy.

What it means to despise prophecy:
• Disbelief in God’s Word
• No corresponding action
• Making light of divine instruction

Why God Gives Prophecies:
• For comfort and edification
• To build trust when they come to pass
• To call things into existence
• To reveal God’s power and prepare us for spiritual encounters
• As warnings and guidance (Luke 1:45)

Pastor concludes by reminding us that prophetic destinies are connected to others, God will not allow you to fail because many are waiting on your obedience. Speak only the Word, and don’t remain ordinary when new oil rests upon you.
