The Housemartins were an English Pop group active in the ‘80’s. The group blended British Pop, Soul and Gospel.
Hold Tight! was a rubbish kids' TV game show that was filmed at Alton Towers. It was made by Granada and ran from '82 to '84. The show usually featured a musical guest who could have been anyone from Cliff Richard to Iggy Pop (really!).
In the Autumn of 1986, apropo of nothing, they put this out - The Housemartins Live!
In those days very few shows featured actual live music, so this was excellent!
