How Trump Can Win Before a Case Is Filed

A New York Times investigation reported today that after Paul Weiss reached a deal with the Trump administration, firm leaders opposed bringing a case that could have demonstrated the firm’s continued independence because they did not want to provoke Trump again.

The case was never filed.

Paul Weiss denies that its independence was compromised.
