How we made the igloo?
どうやってイグルー作った？
Drew a circle on the snow and decided the circumference.
雪の上に円を描き、円周を決めました。
Stomped the snow with our feet until packed.
固まるるまで足で雪を踏みました。
Yes, you need a lot of snow. Hakkoda gets plenty of snow.
Used a 30 cm long snow saw to cut out the snow blocks.
長さ30cmの雪のこぎりを使用して雪のブロックを切り取りました。
Asked an Igloo Meister to help us place the snow blocks in a continuous spiral.
イグルーマイスターに、雪のブロックを連続したらせん状に配置するのを手伝ってくれるように頼みました。
We had to use a sledge to carry the heavy snow blocks.
重い雪のブロックを運ぶためにそりを使わなければなりませんでした。
We built the entrance in a zig zag shape to stop the snow go in.
雪が入らないようにジグザグの入り口を作りました。
It took us a day and the next morning to finalize it.
完成させるのに一日と翌朝かかりました。
We gently carved a table in the middle and seats on the outside.
真ん中にテーブル、外側にシートをそっと彫りました。
Mr. Toyoshi Sasaki is an Igloo Meister and has been building igloos for many years.
