A quick test of my new portable YouLoop antenna connected to the Airspy HF+ receiver. Here the antenna is simply hung in a tree only about one metre above the ground.
I was impressed with the low noise of the setup vs my G5RV or MLA30+ antennas. The ability to twist the antenna to null out the noise was a nice benefit also.
It's a great option for travelling as the whole setup is lightweight and can be packed away easily.
