Описание: Applying the principles of movement of water by osmosis. We first look at how water may move into and out of a plant cell, and then the three ways water can move between plant cells. Water is always moving due to differences in water potential (caused by different levels of solute), but it can move between plant cells in three ways: Apoplastic, Symplastic and Vacuolar. The video on osmosis and this video on movement of water between plant cells form the basis for understanding how water moves from roots to leaves.
