04.17.2021 | 5:28 AM | SIMI VALLEY – Ventura County Fire crews responded to a call of a palm tree on fire to the rear of a residence in the 1500 block of Elvado Dr.
When crews arrived on scene, they discovered that the fire had spread to the residence and began an aggressive attack.
The fire was knocked down in approximately 45 minutes, however there was significant damage to the structure.
A deceased male was discovered in a shed to the rear of the structure shorty after knockdown.
Simi Valley PD was requested to the scene. The investigation is ongoing. No further details at this time.
