It’s been a busy start to the year! Today we’re checking in on Hive Number 5. About a month ago, I noticed this colony was queenless, so we’ve been working on a bit of a "rescue mission" to get them back on track.
In this video, I’m checking a frame of young brood I brought down on Christmas Eve to see if they’ve successfully raised a new queen. I also share my thoughts on using Paradise Hives (similar to Hive IQ) and why I’m a fan of their winter performance here in North East Victoria.
