Falls is here and that means the cold weather has begun. My riding season never really stops so I wanted to make sure I had a way to keep the wind off my hands going forward. I've also been riding in the woods a lot and wanted to make sure I had a way to keep branches off of my hands and controls. I've also been riding with other people and I want to make sure my hands are protected in case they kick up any roost.

I decided to go with these cool Acerbis X-Ultimate Handguards. At the time I purchased them they were $35 from Amazon. I chose these because they mount up easy and they allow you to remove the black plastic inserts to get some airflow on your hands in the warm months. They're super simple to install but depending on your bike you'll have to find the best way to mount them.

These obviously lack the protection of a full wrap around guard but for now these will suit me and the riding I've been doing. If I decide I need more in the future I'll update my setup.
