Here is a quick video on how to install wainscoting. I wanted to freshen up this foyer so I removed the old wainscoting and installed a new, board and batten style wainscoting. I used MDF boards for this wainscoting
Here is a list of the Tools & Materials needed
For general install (with no wainscoting removal):
-MDF Boards (width as per your taste. I used 4" Wide boards)
-Finishing nails-Hammer/nail gun
-Trim & Molding sealant (along with a caulking gun)
A Level along with a pencil for marking
If removing old wainscoting, you may need the following:
-scraper tool, fine grit sandpaper, taping knife, & drywall compound
-Paint, paint brush, and roller
