Punjab’s Minister of Health, Dr. Yasmin Rashid, announced that the government of Punjab will issue health cards to 45 percent of the population by June.

The minister briefed the premier regarding the issuance of health cards to 22.2 million families across the province within the next 12 months

She also apprised him that the residents of the seven districts of Sahiwal and the Dera Ghazi Khan division will be provided with the health cards worth 720,000 rupees per family by June while the remaining districts of the Punjab will receive them by the end of 2021

HOW TO USE SEHAT INSAF CARD / QAUMI SEHAT CARD

STEP 1:

Check your Eligibility

SMS your National Identity Card number to 8500, to check your eligibility in the program.

STEP 2:

Get your Sehat Insaf card / Qaumi Sehat Card

In case you have been declared eligible, you can receive your Sehat Insaf card / Qaumi Sehat Card from the card distribution center developed in your district.

STEP3:

Gather Information and Documents required

Determine the empaneled hospitals for Sehat Sahulat Program.
Take the following documents when you visit the empanelled Government/ Private hospital.
Sehat Insaf card / Qaumi Sehat Card
Original CNIC
B-Form (In case of child treatment)

STEP 4:

Use your Sehat Insaf card / Qaumi Sehat Card to get treatment

After reaching the empaneled hospital you may approach the dedicated SSP representative counter for further assistance.The SSP staff shall verify your Sehat Insaf card / Qaumi Sehat Card , and will guide you to the relevant hospital department for the treatment.

STEP 5:

Get the treatment free of cost

The cost of treatment after the patient has been admitted in the hospital shall be charged from the Sehat Insaf card / Qaumi Sehat Card.

NOTE: This facility is only available in case of patient needs an admission in the hospital

STEP 6:

Provide Feedback
