Commissioned by Kanoon (The Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults), the album was arranged by legendary Iranian composer Varoujan, known for his work with artists like Googoosh and Dariush.

Born in 1939 in Iran, Pari Zangeneh became one of the key voices preserving and revitalizing traditional Persian folk music. Her warm and expressive vocals move through regional songs with a unique mixture of intimacy and sophistication.

With its hypnotic atmosphere and beautiful production, the album stands today as one of the most fascinating recordings from the golden era of pre-Revolution Iranian music.
