Basstracker Pro 17 Aluminum with Rotten Transom…..JFL boat build gets it right with COOSA !

Описание: In this awesome episode Brent from JFL Boat Build Series does not only do fiberglass boats. He can also show you how to restore or recondition your rotten transom in your aluminum boats. In this episode, he is working on a bass tracker pro 17 foot deep V aluminum boat. This boat is 20+ years old, and weather has taken over and completely rotted out the transom. Brent reconfigures the rear section of the aluminum boat to accept three laminated layers of Coosa board with 2- 1/2 inch sheets and 1- 1/4 inch sheet of Coosa board laminated together with 1708 and a high quality marine polyester resin for longevity. Join Brent as he walks you through the steps necessary to remove, and replace the rear aluminum outer shell as well. The old Aluminum outer skin suffered about a 4 inch hole from electrolysis deterioration over the last 20+ years. Super informative and excellent “how to”.

It seems obvious there’s nothing. Brent cannot fix when it comes to structural and cosmetic repairs on boats whether they’re aluminum or fiberglass.
