Through the BEACON Fellowship Project, Adeline Coggins worked with building owners and school districts in Bellingham and Whatcom County to provide no-cost technical assistance to help them understand Clean Buildings Performance Standards requirements.
She recognized being a part of this program that it is not just about getting buildings to meet compliance, but about the people impacted – from owners to staff and students.
The BEACON program is a partnership between Commerce, SEI: Building Leaders for a Resilient World, the Smart Buildings Center, and San Timoteo Energy Associates - working together to support compliance and build a more resilient building sector.
