If your going to attempt a job like this, make sure you do this in a well ventilated area. First disconnect your battery cables from your vehicle's battery before attempting this job, do not smoke around the vehicle or light any matches/lighters, make sure the vehicle is not running, make sure the engine is not warm or hot, make sure the engine is cold, make sure you do not keep any power cords or extension cable near or around the motor when attempting a job like this, I removed the fuel fill cap to release any pressure from the fuel tank and then immediately placed the fuel fill cap back on the vehicle before I disconnected the fuel line. Please consult your owners manual, manufacturer, dealer, and or a certified ASE certified mechanic before attempting a job like this.
