It's been a little while since I've recorded a quartet based piece (2 guitars, bass and drums) so this was fun! You'll probably spot various influences in this, from the chord progression to the shuffle groove, to the guitar tones to the articulation techniques. The clean rhythm guitar was a MusicMan Luke 2 (neck and middle pickups) into a Helix pedal with a heavily tweaked Fender/Marshall blend from Michael Britt. The lead guitar was a PRS DGT (bridge pickup - probably the best bridge humbucker I've ever played with) with a Free The Tone Gigs Boson pedal into the same Michael Britt clean amp Helix sound. All reverbs were courtesy of IK Multimedia Sunset Sound's Studio Reverb plug-in. Thanks for listening!
