A massive fire has broken out in the Baghmunda Reserved Forest under the Kaptipada forest range and continues to burn fiercely. The blaze started in the morning and has not been brought under control even by night, with flames gradually spreading across the forest area. The fire is intensifying with time, engulfing large stretches of woodland. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be known, as the forest continues to burn unabated.
