The Duke of Sussex said he had “no other option” but to step back from royal life as he broke his silence over he and his wife’s decision.
Prince Harry was speaking in London at a dinner for supporters of Sentebale, the HIV charity he helped found in 2006 with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho.
In his statement, His Royal Highness also expressed “great sadness” at stepping away, but also said that "the UK is my home and a place that I love. That will never change.”
