Intro:
Salvation and fellowship are different.
Salvation means we belong to God forever.
Fellowship means our daily relationship with Him.

Main:

1. How does Satan separate us from God?
1.) We know God’s will but don’t obey
(Romans 7:18).
2.) Evil thoughts come from within
(Mark 7:21–22).
3.) We stop abiding in Christ
(John 15:4–5).
4.) We follow the flesh instead of the Spirit
(Galatians 5:16–17).

2. How does the Holy Spirit work in us?
1.) Receive Jesus as Savior
(John 1:12).
2.) Abide in Him daily
(John 15:7).
3.) Obey Him, and He reveals Himself
(John 14:21).
4.) Be alert—Satan always tries to break fellowship
(1 Peter 5:8).
5.) Live as a new creation
(2 Corinthians 5:17).
6.) Die to self and live for Christ
(Galatians 2:20).
7.) Confess sins and receive forgiveness
(1 John 1:9).
8.) Do not love the world or self
(1 John 2:15; 2 Timothy 3:1).
9.) Offer your life to God in obedience
(Romans 12:1–2).
10.) Follow Jesus fully
(Matthew 4:19).

3. When I abide in the Lord, Christ lives in me
1.) Emptiness → Jesus satisfies
(John 6:35).
2.) Anxiety → God’s peace fills us
(John 14:27).
3.) Unhappiness → Full joy comes
(John 15:11).
4.) Weakness → Christ’s strength works ( (Philippians 4:13).
5.) Failure → Nothing is impossible with faith ( (Matthew 9:23).

Conclusion:
Jesus is knocking at the door of our heart (Revelation 3:20).
