Описание: GM Nilotpaul Das was in a winning rook endgame and had two extra pawns (a and b pawns) against GM Hesham Abdelrahman at the 7th round of the Gujarat GM 2022. This endgame looks simple on the surface, but is very notorious in nature for its drawing tendencies. It's not for no reason that strong players like Arjun Erigaisi and Ding Liren have botched up in this endgame. In this video we check out Neelotpal's winning technique and towards the end we have IM Sagar Shah explaining two patterns which should be kept in mind, if you want to breeze your way to victory.
