Note: There is confusion about the dates of the first three concerts of this Irish tour. This second Dublin concert is usually credited as having taken place on the 14th of November, but it was actually on the 13th. The confusion stemmed from an incorrect advertisement of the Irish dates in the UK music press.
This was the second consecutive night at the same venue and the band was very well received, prompting Morrissey to say at one point "This is much better than last night". A few changes were made to the setlist for the sake of people attending both concerts. "Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want" was moved up to the opening spot. Morrissey changed a line in the latter song to "See the luck we've had..." He only greeted the audience after that first number then launched into the latest single "William, It Was Really Nothing". The fans sang along with him.

After the then unreleased "What She Said", Morrissey explained "That was a new song from our next LP, it's called 'What She Said'... so there..." There were constant requests for "Reel Around The Fountain" and when the Smiths finally did it, the crowd joined in with another singalong. Following "Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now", Morrissey told someone "You're very brave..." then introduced the next number: "this song is called 'Rusholme Ruffians'." As on earlier dates, the latter piece segued into "This Charming Man", in which Morrissey changed a line to "Will nature make a mouse of me yet?".

Over the first bars of "How Soon Is Now?", Morrissey softly articulated the title: "How Soon... Is Now..." Then "Still Ill" was introduced with the dedication "This is for the kittens". A line was adapted in that one to "Ireland is mine, and it owes me a living". The other new live addition was introduced with the words "This song will be our next single, and it's called... it's called 'I Want The One I Can't Have'." Of course that single never happened because plans were eventually changed in favour of "How Soon Is Now?".

Returning to the stage for the first of two encores, Morrissey just shouted "No!" to the numerous requests and launched into "Hand In Glove". The audience once again joined Morrissey in a big singalong. He probably thanked them in his own way by singing "This one is different because it's you". When the band took the stage again for the second encore, Morrissey started by leading the audience into a chant of "Smiths! Smiths! Smiths!". Johnny cleverly inserted a few bars of the intro to the Beatles "Day Tripper" into "Jeane". Morrissey changed the intention of one line in final song "These Things Take Time" by roaring "You said I was ill and you were wrrrrrrongah!"
