Fisker Ocean Key Fob Fix for poor Battery Life.

Описание: How to fix your Fisker Ocean Key remote fob and stop it flattening its battery in as little as a few days like mine! Used two batteries in 2 days on mine! Even theoretically, the max life would be about 3 months or less, based on current measurements and never driving or going near your car. If you do go near your car, leave your keys within 100ft, even if locked, or while driving it, then on this fob’s current consumption measurements a new battery would only last 5 days! #fisker

The solution is... Just switch out the battery with an additional push-button switch on the back. I show here what was meant to be a temporary battery wiring solution, but since it has proved to be robust I will leave it this way, until I have reason to solder it instead. So now the fob electronics can only take current from its battery when I decide - when I push the extra button. So now the button should last for years! Yay - one more problem fixed. I show the actual current consumption of my remote, which may have some hardware or software fault, but it seems this quick flattening of batteries is not uncommon.
