Police said 20-year-old Jkwon Williams, the victim's son, was identified as the suspect. He was found within a few hours of the shooting and was taken in for questioning. Officers responded to the 2400 block of Gareth Circle around 11 a.m., where they found a 47-year-old woman with a gunshot wound. The Stockton Police Department said the woman was taken to the hospital, but she ultimately died from her injuries.
