One of the greatest things about working at Mustang Cat is all of the relationships we get to form with our customers. No two customers are the same. They all have a different background and are at a different point in their careers. It's exciting to watch companies' individuals grow because of the products that we're able to provide.

Should you own it? Should you lease it? Should you rent it? There's a lot of great options out there and the customer knows better than any of us of what option works best for them.

This is a step. This is an investment. Whether you're doing it for personal reasons or a business, we're trying to help you grow and help you maintain and do what you're trying to do with that piece of equipment. It's just really where do you want to dive in, what do you see yourself doing and what is your plan..

You know, for the first two years of my business, I rented equipment. I wasn't sure I wanted to be in the business long term. Starting off with rent, a lot of times rental is better for short-term, if for some reason your equipment is tied up, or if it's something outside of what you're usually prepared to do. If the customer is just getting started and their workload is light, rental represents a great solution for them. If they've got a lot of projects in their future, because of the resale value that Caterpillar represents, owning that piece of equipment may be their best option, and sometimes it's a hybrid...
