Описание: Do bath bombs fizz without citric acid? Three bath bomb recipes without citric acid are tested - bath bombs made with lemon juice, cream of tartar and cornstarch. Do they fizz?

The combination of lemon juice and baking soda created minimal fizz, and created yellow streaks. Cream of tartar bath bombs created a little more fizz, but not much. Cornstarch bath bombs had no fizz, and created a gloopy texture in the water. The texture of all three bath bomb recipes with alternative ingredients were crumbly, and hard to work with. Bath bombs work best with a combination of baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) and citric acid.

"Recipes" tested in this video are below, although we don't recommend them. The best bath bomb recipes include citric acid.

--Lemon Juice Bath Bomb:
1 cup baking soda
Lemon juice (until moldable texture)

--Cream of Tartar Bath Bomb:
1 cup baking soda
1/2 cup cream of tartar
Witch hazel (until moldable texture)

--Cornstarch Bath Bomb:
1 cup baking soda
1/2 cup cornstarch
Witch hazel (until moldable texture)
