Описание: In this video we explore some spots that are super popular with Guangzhou locals- many have been around for decades! All of these spots except for the claypot rice restaurant are situated on Wenming Road- we found it a great street for eating and it's perfect for a food crawl!

Claypot rice $55CNY/$7.60 for 2 dishes at Min Ji

Spring onion pancake stall on Wenming Road, Yuexiu District, Guangzhou
Spring onion pancake by weight $5.40CNY/$0.75USD,

Da Yang Original Stew, No.160, Wenming Road, Yuexiu District, Guangzhou. Coconut chicken soup $43CNY/$6USD for 2 soups

Bai Hua on Wenming Road, Yuexiu District, Guangzhou.
Pudding at Bai Hua $28CNY/$3.70USD all up

Guangzhou is the birthplace of Cantonese cuisine- perhaps the most well known regional cuisine of China. From dim sum to Cantonese barbecue and roast meats, and wonton noodles to congee- Guangzhou has something to suit all tastes. This is a 6 part series of our exploration of Guangzhou’s delicious food scene.

NB- the best and easiest way to pay for food is via Alipay or WeChat pay- you can link your international bankcard to the platforms easily. To get around we used Amap as Google maps is quite outdated and isn’t necessarily accurate.
