Mount Stuart, located on the Isle of Bute, is one of Scotland's most impressive buildings. Known for hosting Stella McCartney's wedding, it features the Marble Hall with over 20 types of Italian and Sicilian marble and a star map on the ceiling. Rebuilt after a fire, the house showcases wealth from the 19th century. Highlights include the Marble Chapel with red stained glass, an intricate staircase resembling a tree, and zodiac signs on the upper floor windows. The gardens were in full bloom during the visit, making the trip worthwhile. Influenced by recommendations, the day trip involved a ferry ride and a visit to the café and gardens.
