सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने यूजीसी के नए नियम पर रोक लगा दी है. इस मामले पर सुनवाई करते हुए सीजेआई सूर्यकांत ने टिप्पणी करते हुए कहा कि हमें जातिविहीन समाज की ओर बढ़ना चाहिए. इसी के साथ पीठ ने केंद्र और यूजीसी को नोटिस जारी किया है. अगली सुनवाई 19 मार्च को होगी.
The Supreme Court has stayed the new UGC regulations. While hearing the case, Chief Justice Surya Kant remarked that we should strive towards a casteless society. The bench also issued notices to the central government and the UGC. The next hearing is scheduled for March 19.
