Do professors learn when they read research papers? Surprisingly, we do learn when we grade papers from students that have a great report.

Do Professors Remember Papers? Yes, sometimes. I will remember when a person had a good point, and I will want to engage with the student in the future.

How can you improve your grade with a research paper? Make sure the sections and points that you are making are clearly marked. I would bold and italic key words and concepts. You would be surprised how much this makes a difference when you are grading many papers.
