This river is my biotope aquarium inspiration!

Let me introduce to you this exceptional treasure of our nature – river Riv. It is a small river, only 104 km length, but proudly boasts all types of biotopes: from a narrow stream with dangerous rapids to wide and deep ponds that are used by farmers to grow carps. It has even islands!
But I chose this river for my explorations and studies because the Riv has a superpower – clear water that is a rare phenomenon in Ukraine where the vast majority of rivers has murky and dirty water, impossible to film and photograph.

I filmed this video on June, 10 2025 in the river River just below the village Demydivka, Vinnytsia region, Ukraine.
