Hey, all!
I'm Ben a Homeschool Dad on the Left, homeschooling my now 4 year old daughter. Some of the content of this Unit Study is well above her head, but I intend to revisit this theme every year around this time, so I look forward to growing it with her and myself.
This video shares a look at how I've put/am putting together our January Unit Study on HOMES and HOMELESSNESS. I talk about the resources I'm using to teach my daughter a little history (MLK Jr and Fred Hampton), a little geography (her town, her state, her country, continent, and planet), some building construction, and a lot of empathy and kindness.
Sorry for the recent delay in uploading vids, but there've been the holidays, birthdays, some family medical stuff, and just a lot going on. I have way more planned and more to say than I have time to share, but I hope you find this video helpful. I'm kinda proud of this Unit.
